Holy moly! Awesome place! We stayed at a hotel right around the corner and when I saw Cuban food I knew we had to try it out! The chicken Milanese was ooey gooey cheesy deliciousness! The picadillo was great! The congri had tons of flavor. I got 2 guava pastries as well and they are flaky and yummy! The staff was so sweet and patient with me cause it took me a minute to decide what I wanted. If we ever get back to the area we will be back cause the sandwich descriptions had my mouth watering too! 2 thumbs up for sure!

Lazy Saturday afternoon, I needed that 3pm coffee break still new to the area and this popped up on my yelp I saw all the guava pastries reviews and I was #sold! (aka ima realtor) plus my greatest joys in life are baby Jesus, my children and delicious pastries..we ordered to go , cute restaurant with seating outside
I'm a five star gal yelp reviewer , the food was good and the Cuban coffee and the guava pastry was delicious. I wish the customer service was better , It wasn't a welcoming experience at all. -

Authentic Cuban restaurant, hidden in a small plaza in Kannapolis. The service was friendly and the owner was very welcoming. The food was amazing, great taste and a reasonable portion size. Do not skip dessert, the Guayaba pastries are a most.

OMG they're very good. Small plans tucked in the end of a plaza. Quiet cozy place. Workers very friendly and a accommodating. Pretty sure an owner or manager walked in while I was eating. Very friendly. Didn't have to, but he acknowledged me and said hello. Very kind.
I ordered a couple crequetas, a papa rellena & a Cuban sandwich. I are the croquetas & rellena there and was going to have the sandwich to go but couldn't resist. Had to do it. Ate half of out there. Delicious. Great bread & pork. Next time I was told to try the lechon asado (roast pork).
Couldn't resist, had to get a guava cream cheese pastry to go. About to eat that deliciousness now. Had to do this review first. Where's my priorities?
